Patrick Muller goes into the shop window on Thursday when he bids to keep Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen off the scoresheet, but the impressive defender is focusing only on representing Switzerland.
After deciding to leave French champions Lyon when his contract expires, the 27-year-old has a number of clubs on his trail.
Bochum and Mallorca are understood to be the only two clubs to submit firm offers for his signature, but Barcelona and a host of Bundesliga clubs have also been monitoring his situation closely.
However, Muller would be keen on a move to England and knows a star role in Coimbra would have Premiership clubs beating a path to his door.
Not that the centre back is focusing on his own personal gain, far from it as he is fiercely proud of representing his country.
"His opinion is he is playing for the team not himself," stressed agent Andrew Blocksage to skysports.com.
"He is flattered everybody is looking at him. If a move comes out of it, fantastic, but he's playing for Switzerland and doesn't see it as his shop window.
"However, he has already received offers and he is a free agent so there is a lot of interest in him.
"He is quite keen to come to England and no doubt several clubs will be monitoring his performance."
Everton, Manchester City and Portsmouth are among the teams waiting in the wings although Tottenham could also prepare an approach as new boss Jacques Santini knows Muller well from their time together at Lyon.
