Everton defender Joseph Yobo has denied that he is unsettled at Goodison Park.Everton defender Joseph Yobo has denied that he is unsettled at Goodison Park.
In an interview with African football publication Kick-Off, Yobo was quoted as saying that he would not sign a new deal at Everton because of problems at the club.
He is also claimed to have said that he has previously held transfer talks with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, Yobo has been quick to deny the story - insisting that he is more than happy with life at Everton.
"I'm very upset with what has been said," he said.
"I haven't spoken to anybody lately. I'm just concentrating on being here, I'm happy here. I've signed for Everton.
"I've always said I'm happy here. I've never talked about any other clubs. I'm very upset at the moment because I don't know where this is coming from.
"At the moment I've got a contract with Everton and I'm happy here. This is just ridiculous. Are people trying to get at me? I don't know, I don't know where the stories are coming from.
"Somebody wants to get at me. Somebody just wants to create some confusion somewhere, I don't know where all this is coming from but I'm happy here. I love the people here and I want to stay here.
"The spirit at Everton is good. The lads would know if I was the type of person who would say this. We are good friends off the pitch as well. It's all been created for it to come at this moment in time."
Yobo has missed Everton's last two games against Everton and Manchester City with a knee injury, but he is now fit and available for this Sunday's clash against Middlesbrough.
