Everton hope Thomas Gravesen will decide to sign a new deal with the club.Thomas Gravesen is enjoying Everton's fine start to the season - increasing the club's hopes that he will sign a new deal.
The Danish midfielder's current contract at Goodison Park expires next summer, and The Toffees are desperate to hang onto him.
Gravesen has been a key part of the club's success, and the club hope he may decide to sign a new deal as a result.
"I think everybody is enjoying the recent success," said Gravesen.
"When you are winning games and when you are having success it affects everybody around the place, from the fans to the players, and I am enjoying it as well, that is obvious.
"It was difficult circumstances for the club at the start of the season as everybody knows, with the pre-season and all the rumours around the place to begin with.
"But I thought we stuck together and tried to make the best of it. We know what we can do and we believe strongly in the team we have got."
Gravesen is also enjoying the more advanced David Moyes has handed him.
"I haven't scored a lot of goals in my career but the manager has put faith in me and he has said he wants more goals from everybody at the club.
"He has given me a role that takes me forward more in the game and at the moment it seems to work."
Moyes is hoping Joseph Yobo's injury problems are behind him in time for Saturday match against Fulham.
The Nigerian will miss his country's friendly with South Africa on Wednesday because of a fresh ankle knock.
"We're hoping he will be okay in time for Fulham's visit this weekend," said Moyes.
"But it's just indicative of Joseph's luck this season.
"He picked up an ankle problem in Arsenal which meant he wouldn't have been fit enough to play tomorrow."
