Everton winger Kevin Kilbane has talked to David Moyes regarding his poor season.
Everton midfielder Kevin Kilbane has held talks with manager David Moyes regarding his poor form this season.
The Republic of Ireland international has struggled for much of the campaign with The Toffees - thus prompting Moyes to speak with the former Preston North End, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland player on a few occasions.
The 29-year-old was a late substitute in Saturday's 1-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, but the winger is hoping for a chance to put things on track at Premiership leaders Chelsea on Easter Monday.
"I've not had a good season and it's down to me," Kilbane said in the Daily Star.
"I don't know why and the manager has had a couple of chats with me.
"I'm disappointed with myself - It's just not happened for me. I signed a new deal last season and it's as if I have slackened off.
"I now have two years left on my contract, but it can all change very quickly.
"It's a killer when you aren't even on the bench.
"There's a lot of competition here for places, but I've looked at Easter as a time when I might get another chance - hopefully against Chelsea."
