Everton's young striker James Vaughan has stepped up his recovery from a long-term shoulder injury and has set a rough date for his return.
The 19-year-old has missed the start of the season with the injury, which he picked up in a pre-season friendly against Preston.
Vaughan has now been cleared to start running and is hopeful of a return to action by November.
"I only started running this week but at the moment I'm just trying to get the full range of movement back in my shoulder," Vaughan told Everton's official website.
"Once that happens, it shouldn't take too long to get it back up to full strength.
Last year Vaughan had his best return for a Premier League season, but he is remaining sensible about not rushing his return to action.
"The coaching staff and medical team have set the target for me to return by November and that remains the plan but it would be great if I could come back a bit before then and I'm quietly confident. It's just a question of being sensible.
"It's not an injury that can be rushed. If I haven't got the movement there, I can't come back. It's that simple. But I'm pleased with the way things are going.
"It's been frustrating because you feel like you can run around and kick balls but if I fell on it now, the same thing would happen again."
The teenager is the youngest ever goalscorer in the Premier League and is grateful of the support he's received whilst he's been sidelined.
"I've got good people around me, they have given me great support and whenever I have seen supporters, they have wished me well.
"The lads here are great, the coaching staff and the medical staff have been excellent, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long now."
