Everton midfielder Leon Osman has hinted he may commit his long-term future to the high-flying Merseysiders.
The Toffees romped home in the league at the weekend with a resounding 7-1 demolition job of lowly Sunderland.
With confidence high at Goodison Park, Osman has hinted he will follow in the examples of Andy Johnson, Joseph Yobo, Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill by signing new Everton contracts.
"The manager is looking to build something here," Osman told the club's official website.
"All the players who have signed deals have committed themselves for the next four or five years, so the future is looking bright and things aren't at present too bad either."
Crucial moments
Meanwhile, manager David Moyes believes it is no fluke that Everton's upsurge in form has coincided with Tim Cahill's return to fitness.
A metatarsal injury prevented the Australian international, who has three league goals in his last two games, from featuring in the first two months of the season.
"Tim underlines what he can give you," explained Moyes. "We didn't have him for the first couple of months of the season and we missed his goals at crucial moments."
Moyes is not ruling out Everton or one of the club's fellow Uefa Cup hopefuls breaking into the top four this season.
"I think somebody could get into the top four. Maybe you could be speaking to the Manchester City manager, the Aston Villa manager or the Blackburn manager or the Portsmouth manager and they will all be saying the same," he continued.
"I said a while ago it would be as hard to break into the top 10 this year as it would the top four because there is big competition to even get into the top half of the league.
"On Saturday we reached high standards where we played very well. We have to now continue to be consistent at that level. We have won quite a few games recently."
