Toffees midfielder wants to net five times

Everton midfielder Steven Pienaar is eager to end his goal drought with the Toffees this season. The South Africa international admits that he must improve his scoring record as Everton struggle in 15th position in the Premier League. Pienaar made his first appearance of the campaign in the Uefa Cup defeat to Standard Liege at the beginning of October after returning from a toe injury sustained in pre-season. And having regained fitness, Pienaar is looking to score five goals this term after only finding the back of the net on two occasions since moving to Goodison Park from Borussia Dortmund in July 2007. "I need to score more goals," the 26-year-old told Everton's official website. "It's something I am working on. If I can contribute five goals in the Premier League a season then that would be an achievement for me. "The last two seasons have been a drought for me in front of goal. I should score more goals. "But I'm a team player and I'm happy to help create goals. But I want to be able to contribute more with goals when the chances come my way."
