Wolves interim boss Terry Connor insists he is aiming to build some winning momentum at the end of the Premier League season.
The club have already been relegated following a run of form that has yielded just one win in their last 24 games.
They finish their home campaign with a game against Everton on Sunday, before making the trip to face Wigan which may be a relegation decider for the Latics.
Connor has not won since taking over on a temporary basis following Mick McCarthy's departure in February but is targeting a winning finale.
He said: "It has been a difficult season but the players have had some joy for their efforts over the last three or four games with performances and a couple of results.
"We want to keep that going, have a positive end to the season and make sure fans and the club alike feel ready for next season.
"It's our last game at home and we want to finish the season in a positive manner. That's what I've been drumming into the players this week.
"If we approach it in the right manner, we can give a good account and send the supporters home feeling good about next year and that it will be a successful one.
"We want to do well and make them want to come back and support their team."
Wolves have previously gone on record to explain that Connor's future will be discussed at the end of the campaign.
Connor has also revealed that he is set to review the previous 12 months with club owner Steve Morgan and chief executive Jez Moxley when the season ends.
He said: "I've been asked to look after things until May 13 and then we will sit down and review the situation.
"Whatever decision is made, I will abide by that. I will give my honest opinion of what has happened this season and where the club would like to go.
"But the outcome of what happens is down to the club itself."
