David Moyes does not want Everton to get too 'dizzy' after beating Southampton

David Moyes insisted he was happy for Everton supporters to have high expectations after Saturday's victory over Southampton kept them flying high in the Premier League, but has told his players not to get too carried away.

Moyes also lavished praise on Jelavic, admitting the Croatian's arrival midway through last season had solved a longstanding problem for Everton. He said: "It's great because I've always said that if you get someone to score you 15 goals, it is a big thing, and we hope Nicky does it. "His goals last season were really vital and gave everyone a lift, and he's really unlucky not to get a hat-trick today."
