The Stade Velodrome side have been extremely busy during the winter transfer window, setting up deals for five new signings, and it has been suggested l'OM have 43 players under contract at the club.
However, Tapie is convinced that he can successfully wheel-and-deal in order to reduce the wage bill, which is reportedly around é¼5 million per month.
"This is fake," he blasted. "I can't understand where you got this amount.
"Those who were loaned out, won't be back.
"For example, Bruno Ngotty. Bolton proposed to accept the option to buy," he told L'Equipe.
"Ibrahim Ba and Philippe Brunel are on their way, the first one to England, and the second one probably for Lille.
"As I said at the start of the mercato, there will be more departures than arrivals."
Ba almost joined Middlesbrough back in 1999, is on loan from Milan, and is a lively wide player who could make an impact in The Premiership.
The latest indications are that Zoumana Camara and Lens star Lamine Sakho will swap clubs, and Standard Liege's Yugoslavian defender Ivica Dragutinovic is on his way to l'OM.
Jerome Leroy's return to Paris Saint Germain has now been made official, with a four-year contract awaiting him at the end of his loan deal, which runs for the remainder of the campaign.
