Former Blackpool winger Jamie Milligan and ex-Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Steve Banks will join The Silkmen on their first-ever foreign tour to Scandinavia.
The Moss Rose outfit were initially not preparing to bring trialists along on their Norwegian tour but the departure of Darren Tinson and the club's failure to sign Barnsley keeper Matthew Ghent, has freed up two places.
Milligan (pictured) is a former Everton trainee who moved to Bloomfield Road in March 2001 before he was released by The Seasiders at the end of last season, having suffered a broken foot last November.
Banks spent time on loan last season with Division One side Stoke City and Moss is known to be keen on signing a new custodian for the upcoming campaign in Division Three.
