Reports in Spain claim that the hit-man - who had a loan spell at Blackburn two seasons ago - is being monitored by a number of English sides, but that Bolton are at the head of the queue.
The Trotters are reported to have sent scouts to watch the 29-year-old in action this term - the latest occasion being at last weekend's 1-0 home win over Osasuna when he came off the bench for the final 15 minutes.
Yordi has been far from a first-team regular for his Spanish side this term and has made only 12 starts in La Primera.
However, Sam Allardyce is believed to be a long-term fan of the imposing forward, and is keen to lure him to The Reebok Stadium this summer.
The player himself insists he is happy at Zaragoza - despite his limited chances - and will not be making a decision on his future before the Spanish season ends next week.
"Right now I don't want to think about my future," Yordi stated.
"There will be time at the end of the championship to talk and decide about these things."
On the reports that Bolton scouts had been to Spain to watch him, he continued: "Nobody has spoken to me and I didn't know they were watching me in particular."
The former Sevilla star has just one year left on his contract and it is believed that Zaragoza would be willing to cash in on him this summer rather than lose him as a free agent next season.
