Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has stated no players are leaving the club.Bolton Wanderers manager Sam Allardyce has stated no players are leaving The Reebok this summer if they are under contract.
It had been feared the club could lose star goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen after contract talks stalled, however Allardyce does not believe the Finn wants to leave.
In fact, the Trotters boss is keen to hold talks with some of his key players along with reinforcing his squad during the summer in order to be more competitive.
"Jussi doesn't want to go," explained Allardyce to Sky Sports News.
"We'll go into contract talks with everyone we need to maintain here and then bring in new players into the side to become bigger, better and more competitive next season.
"If we finish in the Uefa Cup what value is Jaaskelainen, Jaidi, Ben Haim, Hunt, Nolan, Davies, Stelios etc. Then their value goes up.
"We're not a selling club now, if someone wants them they'll have to pay a nice ransom for them."
Meanwhile, Allardyce has stated he does not think any of his stars are big enough names to demand a move away from the side.
"I don't think any of our players are big enough to come and knock on my door and say they want to leave," he added.
"I think that happens are some clubs. If I decide they don't leave then they don't, especially if they are contracted."
