Portuguese veteran Fernando Couto has confirmed that he has offers to play in England.However, Couto has also stated his desire to remain at Lazio.
Couto is yet to seal a new deal with the Roman club and he has interest from England and Russian outfit Dinamo Moscow.
The 35-year-old admitted the offers, saying: "Yes, it is true [about England and Russia].
"But my first option is to stay with Lazio.
"My desire is to stay, but that may be not sufficient. I expect to speak to the president and sort things as quickly as possible.
"He knows my salary will not be a problem."
Bolton Wanderers were linked with a move earlier in the summer and the Portuguese legend could fit the bill to replace the now retired Fernando Hierro.
