Khalilou Fadiga and Salif Diao have been left out of Senegal's 23-man squad.
Senegal coaches Abdoulaye Sarr and Amara Toure have left Premiership midfielders Khalilou Fadiga and Salif Diao out of their African Cup of Nations squad.
The news will be a boost to Bolton Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce and Portsmouth chief Harry Redknapp as they feared losing the players in the New Year.
Fadiga has been unable to pin down a regular place at Bolton while Diao has been in and out of the Pompey side following his loan from Liverpool.
Less encouraging news for Allardyce is that Abdoulaye Faye and El Hadji Diouf are, as expected, in the group, along with the likes of Wigan Athletic's Henri Camara, Fulham star Papa Bouba Diop, Newcastle United midfielder Amdy Faye and West Brom's Diomansy Kamara.
Tony Sylva (Lille), Pape Diouf (Jeanne d'Arc), Cheikh Ndiaye (Rennes); Ferdinand Coly (Parma), Lamine Diatta (Lyon), Souleymane Diawara (Sochaux), Habib Beye (Marseille), Omar Daf (Sochaux), Pape Diakhate (Nancy), Nguirane Ndaw (Sochaux), Boukhary Drame (PSG); Amdy Faye (Newcastle), Abdoulaye Faye (Bolton), Papa Bouba Diop (Fulham), Dino Djiba (Metz), Issa Ba (Chateauroux); Diomansy Kamara (West Brom), Frederic Mendy (St Etienne), Eahmane Barry (Lorient), El Hadji Diouf (Bolton), Henri Camara (Wigan), Mamadou Niang (Marseille), Souleymane Camara (Nice).
