Foxes signing hopes for promotion next term

Midfielder Neil Danns has revealed the lure of the Premier League persuaded him to join Leicester City. Danns, 28, will move to the Foxes on 1st July although there was strong interest in his signature from Old Firm clubs Rangers and Celtic. The former Crystal Palace man believes Leicester have a good chance of clinching promotion from the Championship next season and that was a key reason for his decision to move to the Walkers Stadium. "It was a massive decision for me to make. There was interest from both Celtic and Rangers and it was a great opportunity on offer," he told Sky Sports. "But I've always wanted to play in the Premier League and this club at the moment has the right set up and all the backing to get there. "I've still got ambitions to get there so that was one of the main factors of me signing." Danns began his career at Blackburn and played for Colchester and Birmingham before a three-year spell at Palace.
