Barnsley striker Craig Davies has dismissed claims they will become complacent after last weekend's vital win over Peterborough.
That victory gave them an 11-point cushion over Coventry in the relegation zone and went a long way to ensuring they remain in the Championship.
Mathematically, however, relegation is still a possibility and the Tykes marksman insists they will not ease up during the remaining games of the season.
"We'd like to do ourselves justice. We're not just going to lie down after beating Peterborough," Davies told The Star.
"There's no point thinking we're fine now, because we're not mathematically safe. There's still a lot to play for.
"We had such a good first half to the season that all of us want to make sure we finish as high as we possibly can and lay down a marker for next season.
"We showed a lot of spirit to grind out a result against Peterborough. We've got to show that in our remaining seven games and do as well as we can."
