QPR man ready for 'massive game' against Stoke

QPR defender Anton Ferdinand believes his team's game against Stoke on Sunday is the biggest of his life. The Hoops are battling for their Premier League lives and are only kept out of the drop zone by goal difference. And with Mark Hughes' men facing a trip to Manchester City on the final day it seems likely they will need a positive result at home to Stoke at the weekend. Ferdinand has been one of QPR's better performers, although he endured a difficult day for a variety of reasons last weekend as his team crashed to a 6-1 defeat at Chelsea. The 27-year-old is keen to forget about events at Stamford Bridge and focus instead on the task ahead at Loftus Road. "We're professionals and it's important to get that Chelsea result out of our system," Ferdinand told the club's official website. "It's in the past now and it's vitally important we're ready for the biggest game of our lives on Sunday, because that's what this is. "It's a massive game. It doesn't just affect players. It affects fans and it affects people that work at the club. There's a lot riding on us staying in the Premier League and we know that. "We've got to show that this shirt means everything to each and every one of us."
