Transfer news: Dougie Freedman hoping to add quality to Bolton ranks
Dougie Freedman will dip into the transfer market this summer hoping to find another player of Jay Spearing's quality.

The Trotters landed midfielder Spearing on a permanent basis in 2013 after convincing him to take a step down into the Championship from Liverpool.
Freedman admits he will be looking to pull off similar deals this year, with 'three or four' names already lined up.
He concedes that he will need to be imaginative as he looks to manage the Reebok Stadium wage bill, but believes recruits of the highest calibre are required if Bolton are to move forward.
The Scot said in the News: "We found last year that we just couldn't trade. The reason for that was there were just so many players under big contracts.
"In all honesty, they could have moved on, but they chose not to.
"We made some solid signings, though. Jay Spearing is fantastic business, rock solid, blue chip investment for this football club and I don't think we did enough of them."
Freedman added: "It has been difficult. We have always had one eye on the financial side of things.
"We narrowly missed out on the play-offs by goal difference last year and I tried to buy a couple of players at the time to get us over the line.
"Craig Davies, Craig Dawson - they were a couple of deals just to get us through and it nearly worked.
"But when you've got a lot of players on good, long contracts and you can't trade, then you can't trade. And I don't think we did enough of that last summer."
