The Irish midfielder has been left frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities and is convinced it has cost him a place in the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad.
"I am hoping for a loan move pretty soon," Gamble told The Reading Chronicle.
"My agent and Reading are ringing around to see if anyone wants to take me right now and I am waiting to hear from them.
"I need a move to get more experience and more games under my belt. I am not playing in the Reading first team at the moment and I can't see myself getting a game because there are so many good players in midfield which makes life very tough.
"If I can't do well for Reading then maybe I can do a job for somebody else.
"I think I am now good enough to play in the Second Division right now, it's just getting the chance to prove it."
Despite coming on as a substitute in a 1-1 draw in Finland, Gamble has been left out of the Ireland Under-21 squad for their forthcoming European Championships qualifiers.
"I don't know the full extent behind it all but if Ireland see that I'm not playing for the first team then they're probably going to pick players who are, which is very disappointing," added a disappointed Gamble
"I know I have the ability to play for my country so I've just got to get on with it."
Meanwhile, midfielder James Harper is also considering a loan move away from the Madejski Stadium in order to get some first team football.
With Kevin Watson and Andy Hughes in good form in midfield for The Royals, the former Arsenal trainee remains committed to fighting and trying to earn his place in manager Alan Pardew's first team but he will consider a loan move.
Harper told the Reading official website: "Obviously I want to be playing, but Hughesy and Kev are playing well and keeping me out so it's fair enough.
"I've not had a moan-up, I've got on with it, good attitude, kept my head down, been dropping a few skills here and there, you know what I mean!
"That's all you can do!
"Obviously I want to play, I'll try to get out on loan but I think my agent is fly-fishing in Ireland having a great time while I'm in the reserves!"
