Welsh international Williams, who is currently out with a knee infection, will be out of contract with The Royals in the summer.
American custodian Hahnemann has more than a year to run on his current deal at the Madejski Stadium, after joining the Berkshire outfit from Premiership side Fulham last summer.
Manager Alan Pardew is keen to reward the duo's in-form displays this season by extending their deals, as Reading push for promotion to The Premiership.
Pardew told the Reading Chronicle: "I'll be talking to Marcus and Adie Williams first.
"We are keen to extend Marcus's contract.
"He has been very successful since he's been here and I want to reward success.
"He took his deal after the ITV Digital thing, so it was not that great.
"As for Adie, when I first brought him back to the club people questioned his fitness and whether he could still do it in the first team but he's proved a lot of people wrong."
Pardew is also keen to extend striker Jamie Cureton's deal, despite the former Bristol Rovers hit-man turning down the club's initial offer.
