Vogts has overseen a regime of introducing youth to the Scotland set-up and his latest squad sees the introduction of several talented youngsters.
The Turkey game is the first since Scotland's humiliating 6-0 defeat to Holland and Vogts will use the match to introduce Coventry keeper Scott Shearer, Reading defender Graeme Murty, midfielders Michael McIndoe of Doncaster and Tommy Miller of Ipswich, along with Rangers striker Steven McLean.
Vogts said: ''This match marks the first stage of our World Cup campaign, as it gives these players a chance to show what they can do.
''Our young players need international football experience, and for those players not involved in the UEFA Champions League or Uefa Cup, this is a great opportunity.''
