Little will have a medical this week before likely completing his move to The Royals once his Clarets contract expires at the end of next month.
The 28-year-old will be joined by Dean Morgan and Louie Soares, who are expected to sign contracts with the Berkshire outfit in the near future.
Morgan has accepted the offer of a two-year deal while Soares should put pen-to-paper on his first professional deal very soon.
Reading's director of football Nick Hammond revealed the deals for the trio were all but done ahead of next season.
"Everything is agreed with Glen, and subject to a medical, he will sign for us on a contract from the 1st of July onwards," Hammond told the club's official website.
"Dean has accepted our offer and will sign for two further years.
"The deal for Louie is all agreed as well."
One player that will be leaving The Royals is goalkeeper Kelvin Jack.
The Trinidad & Tobago custodian will not have his short-term contract extended by the club for next term.
