Reading star Dave Kitson has revealed he would be interested in playing for Republic of Ireland.Kitson qualifies for Republic of Ireland through his grandmother and he is considering pledging his future to Steve Staunton's side.
Staunton admitted he was planning to bring in fresh blood to his side and Kitson has invited the former Liverpool star to include him in his plans.
"If they [Republic of Ireland] decide to make a move I would have to think about it," Kitson told the Sunday Mirror.
"I don't want to be presumptuous so we will have to see - until it happens I can't say one way or the other.
"But if you want to play international football and you're eligible for two countries you have to have a serious think."
