Reports suggest Reading manager Steve Coppell could again raid the Emerald Isle.
Reports in Ireland suggest Reading manager Steve Coppell could turn to the Emerald Isle once again as he prepares his squad for The Premiership.
Coppell is already running the rule over potential targets for his side's first ever season in top-flight football after securing promotion at Leicester two weeks ago.
Former Cork City prospects Kevin Doyle and Shane Long have made a big impression during The Royals' march to the Championship title and were both on target in Saturday's 5-0 win over Derby.
Now Coppell is rumoured to be preparing a double swoop after travelling to Belfield Park on Friday to watch UCD's goalless draw with defending Eircom league champions Cork.
Goalkeeper Darren Quigley and midfielder Gary Dicker are believed to be Coppell's primary targets and the boss is expected to make another visit to Belfield in the coming weeks.
