Leroy Lita admits he can have few complaints about not being a regular starter at Reading this season.
The striker's appearance against Watford last weekend was his first Premiership start in almost two months.
He has also failed to score in the league since netting in the opening day win over Middlesbrough in August.
Lita accepts he will have to fight for his place and acknowledges Reading's fine form this season has restricted his chances.
"I haven't played as much and I have missed a lot of games," Lita told Sky Sports News.
"As long as we are doing well as a team it doesn't matter.
"I always want to play, but the team is doing well and I can't really complain if the gaffer keeps those players out there.
"I hope I will get another chance on Saturday and get on the score sheet."
