Andre Bikey feels beating Manchester United could earn him a long-term deal.
Andre Bikey believes a good performance against Manchester United in the FA Cup fifth round replay could help him seal a permanent deal with Reading.
The Lokomotiv Moscow defender is currently on a season-long loan at The Madejski Stadium and hopes his fine form will persuade manager Steve Coppell to offer him a long-term deal.
The Cameroon international is desperate to leave Russia as he feels he could become a victim of racist violence there.
"I still have three years left on my contract with Lokomotiv, but I don't want to go back there," he told the Daily Mail.
"I'm happy at Reading and want to stay long-term. Maybe beating Manchester United would help secure me a contract.
"There's a different mentality living in Russia and it's very hard to live there being black."
