Reading's Stephen Hunt is in the dark regarding reported interest from Sunderland and is just focusing on his football.
Black Cats boss Roy Keane was linked with a move for the 26-year-old over the weekend as he looks to strengthen his relegation-threatened side.
Despite talk of a £20million war chest being granted to Keane, Hunt is refusing to discuss or fuel rumours of a New Year switch to the Stadium of Light.
"No comment," he told the Reading Chronicle. "I don't know anything about that."
Hunt has been a regular in Steve Coppell's side of late and the former Brentford man is relishing the battle of keeping his place in the starting XI.
"I was an effective substitute in the Championship for a long time but I couldn't get a start because the team was winning," he continued.
"I kept my head down, kept working hard and now I'm in and it's up to me to stay there.
"Since last January I've played every single league game so, touch wood, I'll keep that going."
The Republic of Ireland international has netted twice in his last two outings, both from the penalty spot, and he is relishing the pressure that comes with being the club's penalty taker.
"At the moment I have the responsibility to take penalties and I will enjoy it while it lasts.
"I like the pressure that comes with taking them. If you miss you're anything but a hero, if they go in you are. It's as simple as that."
