On-loan Reading defender Alex Pearce says he would consider making his move to Norwich permanent if he no longer features in Steve Coppell's plans.
The 19-year-old has impressed since moving to Carrow Road on a temporary basis in January and has been enjoying his time in Norfolk.
"I've been here a while now and I haven't managed to get home yet as I'm really enjoying it," Pearce said.
"It's important when you go out on loan to be settled off the pitch and this is a lovely area. The city's nice and the people have been really nice as well.
"We've got a great set of lads here who helped me settle in straight away.
"This has been a great experience and who knows what could happen in football. If I'm not involved with Reading I could end up back here because I've really loved my time."
Norwich, meanwhile, have been told that on-loan Wales Under-21 striker Ched Evans is unlikely to make his move permanent in the summer.
Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson expects Evans to return for pre-season training before he will make a decision on his future.
Evans has scored six goals in 16 starts for Glenn Roeder's side and Eriksson said: "We do not have any plans to sell him.
"A little bit depends on him and he's doing well at the moment for Norwich and his country. If I had to make a plan today, it's to take him back for pre-season, look at him and decide from there. That will be his big chance."
