Reading boss Steve Coppell has confirmed the club have recalled Leroy Lita from his loan spell at Charlton.
Lita joined the Addicks in March on an initial one-month loan deal which was later extended until the end of the season.
The England Under 21 international scored three goals in eight appearances for Charlton, who saw their play-off hopes ended with a 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.
With the Royals battling relegation from the Premier League, Coppell has made use of the 24-hour recall clause in the loan to bring Lita back for the final three games of the season.
Raring to go
"Leroy has been playing regular football for Charlton and will be raring to go. It was an obvious decision to make given the fact that we've not scored lately," said Coppell.
"I made the call to Alan Pardew late on Saturday. We agreed it would be beneficial to us to bring Leroy back now that it's mathematically impossible for Charlton to get into the play-offs."
