Warnock - No interest in Lita

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock says he has no interest in signing Reading striker Leroy Lita.

Palace boss also keen to send Hills out on loan

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock says he has no interest in signing Reading striker Leroy Lita. Reports have suggested Palace could sign Lita in January in a swap deal which would see midfielder Ben Watson move to Reading. Watson is out of contract at the end of the season and has been strongly linked with a switch to the Madejski Stadium after rejecting an extension. However, Warnock is reluctant to lose Watson in the New Year and will not look to sign Lita, who is on loan at Championship rivals Norwich City. "I've no intention of letting Ben go at the minute - even in August I didn't want him to leave," said Warnock in the South London Press. "I'm not interested in Lita." Meanwhile, Warnock confirmed he is ready to let young defender Lee Hills go out on loan in order to gain some first-team experience. He added: "We're circulating Lee's name to clubs. "He needs first-team football, especially with Rhoys Wiggins coming to the fore."
