The Bulgarian international topped the Pompey scoring charts as Harry Redknapp's troops clinched promotion to The Premiership.
Todorov's exploits have been recognised and he has inked a fresh three-year contract to stay with the top-flight new boys.
The 24-year-old has been an impressive figure for Pompey since making the move to Fratton Park from West Ham in the spring of 2002.
He initially struggled to establish himself in The Premiership but, backed by the fillip of a new contract, will be confident of making an impact with Portsmouth in the upcoming months.
Meanwhile, Pompey have confirmed negotiations with Juventus are continuing with regard to keeping Vincent Pericard on the South Coast.
Pericard shone in a season-long loan spell last term and the First Division champions are haggling with the Turin giants over a deal to prolong the Frenchman's stay.
