Portsmouth defender Andy Griffin could be out for up to six weeks.Portsmouth have received a blow in their bid to avoid relegation with the news that Andy Griffin could be out for up to six weeks.
The defender had to be substituted after 26 minutes of the South Coast outfit's Premiership clash with Arsenal on Saturday, and could now miss vital games in the run-in.
Pompey are placed just six points above the drop zone, and will undoubtedly miss the 26-year-old who has made 17 Premiership appearances so far this season.
Griffin came to Fratton Park form Newcastle United last summer and had established himself as a useful first team squad member before picking up the calf strain.
