Gregory Vignal is expected to remain at Portsmouth until the end of the season.Gregory Vignal is expected to remain at Portsmouth until the end of the season, according to Phillipe Flavier, the player's agent.
Vignal has been out of the picture at Fratton Park since Harry Redknapp took over, with the full back feeling that he has not been handed the opportunity to secure a place in the team.
The player was given a chance to shine against Liverpool in the FA Cup, however despite Redknapp praising Vignal's performance against his former club, the Frenchman is not convinced he will keep his place in the side.
"It's a weird situation, the coach told him that he did very well after the FA Cup match, but he isn't confident in Gregory," admitted Flavier.
With his current deal expiring in the summer, Vignal will not push for a move away from the club, preferring to go quietly in June.
"We don't want to do anything stupid, Gregory's contract expires in a few months."
