Boston United rebuffed Doncaster Rover's deadline day interest in Julian Joachim.
Crisis club Boston United blocked an approach from Doncaster for striker Julian Joachim.
The Pilgrims, currently shouldering a £1 million debt, also knocked back interest from Millwall and Joachim's former club Walsall.
Manager Steve Evans (pictured) had threatened to walk out of York Street if Joachim was sold, and he told the Lincolnshire Echo: "The offer was a good one, but I've made my feelings clear that I didn't want Julian to leave the club."
United are currently looking to relocate to a new ground on the outskirts of the town as they look to solve their financial problems and Evans sees Joachim as a key figure if the club are to move forward.
Meanwhile, The Pilgrims have the loans of Birmingham City winger Peter Till and Portsmouth defender Gary Silk until the end of the season, while Birmingham youngster Asa Hall has extended his loan spell by a further four weeks.
