James Keene is hoping his success at GAIS will help him progress at Portsmouth.
Portsmouth youngster James Keene is hoping his success at GAIS will help him make the breakthrough at Fratton Park.
Keene moved to Sweden in March on loan until the end of the season after failing to win a place in Harry Redknapp's plans.
The young striker has netted two goals in four games with GAIS and he hopes his form will improve his chances of establishing himself in Portsmouth's long-term plans.
"I will give everything for GAIS, but once have you tasted the Premier League, you want more." Keene told Expressen.
"Unfortunately, my manager at Portsmouth, Harry Redknapp, has not been keen to give young players a chance.
"Portsmouth is really the best. The fans, the passion and the atmosphere at Fratton Park."
