Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has told Sander Westerveld he is free to leave Fratton Park.
The former Liverpool goalkeeper was brought to the club from Real Sociedad by then manager Alain Perrin but Redknapp sees no future for the player on the South Coast.
Eager to start a summer clear-out in earnest, Westerveld has been shown the door and he is to be joined by Salif Diao and Azar Karadas - who have both seen loan spells expire.
Neither player is likely to be re-signed, with Redknapp having plenty of cash at his disposal in pre-season courtesy of Alexandre Gaydamak's millions.
Also likely to be off-loaded is the misfiring Zambian striker Collins Mbesuma, who arrived at the club from Kaiser Chiefs with a big reputation but has failed to impress under either Perrin or Redknapp's respective regimes.
Senegal midfielder Aliou Cisse is another out of contract and again, he is unlikely to escape Redknapp's cull of his playing ranks.
Meanwhile, Redknapp is being linked with an approach for Wigan striker Henri Camara, a player he knows all about having had him at Southampton in a loan spell last season.
