Robert Earnshaw has played down speculation linking him with Portsmouth.
Robert Earnshaw has played down speculation linking him with Portsmouth by stating he wants to stay at Norwich during the January transfer window.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is believed to be readying a bid for the Championship's top scorer after seeing his own attacking options decimated by injury.
At times this season the former West Ham boss has even contemplated using Sol Campbell as an emergency attacker, and Welsh international Earnshaw could be the answer to his problems at Fratton Park.
The Canaries are reportedly looking for £5million for the former West Brom man but Earnshaw insists he is ready to stay at Peter Grant's side.
"If clubs come in for me that shows I'm doing well," said Earnshaw in The Sun.
"But I'm happy here, I want to go on to the end of the season."
Redknapp is currently waiting to discuss potential targets with Pompey owner Alexandre Gaydamak as he plots to maintain the club's European challenge.
