Tosic linked with Portsmouth move

Portsmouth are reported to be waiting on a work permit to sign Serbian international Dusko Tosic. Pompey are looking to raid the free transfer market to bolster their squad following the closure on the transfer window. They are also are hoping to conclude a deal for former Spurs defender Ricardo Rocha. But a deal for Romanian international Razvam Cocis will not happen because he failed to attain a work permit. Avram Grant will now be hoping that his pursuit of Tosic is more successful. Tosic was set to leave Werder on loan in January, but after talks he was freed just before the window closed. Tosic incurred the wrath of Weder when he pulled out of a loan deal to Duisburg and they seem to be happy to have parted company. "We are relieved to see this case fully closed now as we have never experienced anything like his recent wrongdoings before with a player," Werder Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs said.
