Former Blackburn striker Shabani Nonda is hoping to secure a move back to England after leaving Galatasaray. Nonda is looking for a new club after being released by Galatasaray last month and a number of teams are thought to be weighing up a move for the Congo international. Nonda scored seven goals in 26 games during a six-month loan spell at Blackburn before the making the move to Galatasaray and his time in England holds fond memories for the former Roma and Monaco hit-man. Portsmouth have been credited with an interest in the free agent and the player's agent, John Dario, admits Nonda would welcome a return to England. "Shabani is free to go anywhere he likes after he left Galatasaray," Dario told skysports.com. "I have heard of interest from English teams, but I have not spoken to any clubs as yet. "Shabani was very happy at Blackburn and he would come back to England with pleasure."
