Wolves striker to miss qualifying clash with knee problem

Kevin Doyle will miss Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier against Slovakia with a knee injury. The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) confirmed on Sunday that the Wolves striker will play no part in Tuesday's crucial contest. Doyle has instead returned to his club for treatment - but it was confirmed that no replacement would be called on. The FAI has also revealed that goalkeeper Keiren Westwood has pulled out with a facial injury. Ipswich Town's Brian Murphy has been called up to replace him.
