Portsmouth striker Danny Webber has backed his team-mates to continue their push for promotion into the New Year.
The club took time to adjust to the Championship having been relegated from the Premier League last season, but have found their feet with just three defeats in their last 13 games.
Former Sheffield United striker Webber is currently continuing his recovery from a knee injury suffered in March and is expected to be sidelined until January.
However, he is looking forward to playing in a confident Portsmouth side once again after last season's struggle.
"We've got as much quality within our squad as any team in the Championship I think and the only thing we lack is numbers," Webber told skysports.com.
"The depth of experience is immense, but obviously the transfer embargo hampered us in terms of building a big squad.
"The boys have done really well and I'm excited to be coming back into it because the gaffer has installed a really good mentality in the club.
"It was always going to take a bit of time to adjust after the pain of relegation we suffered last season and also the change in manager over the summer, but we have proved in the last few months what we can do."
