Hoops without back-up striker for most of run-in

QPR will be without Patrick Agyemang for most of the Championship run-in after he suffered a stress fracture of the tibia. The 30-year-old striker is expected to be out for around four months, meaning he may struggle to return before the season ends. Agyemang has scored twice in 14 substitute appearances this season as QPR have romped clear at the top of the Championship table. The ex-Wimbledon trainee joined the Hoops in a £350,000 move from Preston in January 2008 and made an immediate impact, scoring nine goals in 17 appearances to help Rangers avoid relegation. However, the former Ghana international has struggled to maintain that form and had a spell on loan at Bristol City last season. Agyemang has had to play a waiting game this term with Adel Taarabt and Jamie Mackie taking on the goalscoring responsibilities.
