Doncaster extend Stevens loan

Doncaster have extended Enda Stevens' loan spell from Aston Villa for another month.

Stevens' initial stay at the Keepmoat Stadium ended at the weekend following the 1-0 win at Oldham in the FA Cup but the full-back will now remain with Rovers until January. The 24-year-old has made six appearances for Doncaster since rejoining the League One club in early November - Stevens was on loan with Paul Dickov's side last season too. He was rested against Notts County in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday night as he has been nursing a minor niggle but the injury is not expected to keep the Villa defender out of the home league game against Gillingham at the weekend.
