Jamie Redknapp has said that Tottenham are unable to win the Premier League title, despite beating West Ham 4-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Harry Kane struck twice during the London derby at White Hart Lane with defenders Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld adding to the tally before Manuel Lanzini added a late consolation for the Hammers.

Spurs are now just two points outside the top four and are still unbeaten in the Premier League since the opening day of the season against Manchester United, but Redknapp does not believe Mauricio Pochettino's side have what it takes to finish the season as champions.

"I don't think they can win the title, but I think they should aim for top four," Redknapp said on Super Sunday.

"I just don't think they're good enough and there are much better teams. Without taking anything away from what they're doing here because it's fantastic, but I don't think they're ready to win the league yet. They'll have good spells with these young players and they'll have dips in form, but they can definitely make the top four.

Harry Kane says Tottenham's 4-1 win over West Ham was their best performance of the season so far

"Next week against Chelsea will be a big game for them against and if they win, they'll go 13 points ahead of them [Chelsea] and that almost puts Chelsea to bed in terms of getting into the top four.

"So I just think at the moment, they should set realistic standards but they don't get in the top four every year here, its not happened for many years. They've got to try and get into the top four, establish themselves as a top four club again if they can do that then it's great."

Mauricio Pochettino expressed his pride in seeing his Tottenham side's progress on display in their 4-1 rout of West Ham at White Hart Lane

Scott Parker joined Redknapp in the studio at White Hart Lane, and also praised the work Mauricio Pochettino has put together at Spurs

"It's the same style of play we saw him use at Southampton, using young players and he's come it at Tottenham with a philosophy and he's taken some time but you're starting to see the flourish of that. It's pleasing for us as England fans as well because he's using a lot of English talent."
