When is the Europa League round of 32 draw?

The Europa League trophy, which will be up for grabs at the 2017 final in Stockholm

Manchester United will be looking ahead to the last 32 of the Europa League after finishing second in their group.

Tottenham have also dropped into the competition having failed to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages - but when is the draw?

When is the Europa League draw?

The Europa League round of 32 draw takes place in Nyon at 12pm GMT on Monday, December 12.

How will the draw work?

The 12 group winners and the four best third-ranked teams from the Champions League group stage will go into one pot as the seeded teams.

They will be drawn against the 12 group runners-up and the remaining third-placed sides from the Champions League group stage.

No team can play a club from their group or any side from their own nation, while group winners will be away in the first legs and at home in the second legs.

The ties will be played in principle on Thursdays 16 and 23 February at 6pm GMT and 8.05pm GMT, with the exact schedule to be confirmed after the draw.

Unseeded teams: Villarreal, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, PAOK, Krasnodar, Genk, Celta Vigo, Gent, Astra Giurgiu, AZ Alkmaar, Anderlecht, Olympiakos, Manchester United, Ludogorets, Borussia Monchengladbach, Rostov, Legia Warsaw.
