Manchester United host Tottenham live on Sky Sports 1 HD on Sunday - but what would the clubs' combined XI look like?

We've worked it out using the Sky Sports Power Rankings season totals, a system that ranks every player based on 32 different matchday stats - and only three United players make the XI.

Defence

Tottenham's Hugo Lloris gets the nod ahead of David de Gea, having only conceded nine goals and keeping five clean sheets compared to the United stopper's 16 goals conceded and four shutouts.

Spurs' Kyle Walker and Danny Rose fill the full-back positions, having scored one and assisting two, respectively, and both making in excess of 30 tackles and 80 duels this season.

Team-mate Jan Vertonghen partners United's Daley Blind in the centre of defence, with the former completing an incredible 704 successful passes and 130 clearances this term, while Blind has assisted two goals.

Midfield

United's Paul Pogba has had his critics this season, but, in terms of stats, the 23-year-old has excelled across the board and occupies the combined XI in central midfield.

Spurs duo Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen flank Pogba, both having netted three goals this season while the latter has also chipped in with four assists.

Attack

Tottenham's Heung-Min Son successfully filled Harry Kane's boots during the Englishman's spell out through injury earlier this season and the South Korea international makes the XI behind Kane.

Kane has hit goalscoring form in recent weeks, pushing his tally to seven, one shy of his combined XI partner Zlatan Ibrahimovc, who has now scored four in his last three league games.
