Arsenal's Europa League opponents Cologne have made a terrible start to the season. Having lost all three of their continental group stage games, they sit bottom of the Bundesliga without a win in nine. Marcelo Bielsa is seen as an inspiration for many of football's top coaches, including Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone. Despite this, his position as Lille manager may be under threat after a poor start to the Ligue 1 campaign that sees his side sit second-bottom of the table.

However, he remains concentrated on his team's upcoming matches. "In the same way that we have not managed to win against supposedly inferior opponents, we can reverse this equation," he said. "The players want to take up the challenge and are optimistic, as before every game." (L'Equipe)
