The 23-year-old stopper has had to play second fiddle to Ian Walker for the best part of the season, but despite this, he wants to stay at the club.
Wimbledon have been strongly linked with a move for the player, probably because his compatriot Egil Olsen is manager at Selhurst Park, but Spurs have denied any contact from The Dons with regard to the California-raised ace.
"I`d really like to play for Tottenham`s first team again, but I`ll have to be patient," said Baardsen. "I hope something will be worked out in the summer.
"More than anything, I`d like to be part of this team."
Spurs were spuriously linked with a move for Neil Sullivan in the Evening Standard on Thursday, but the keeper would insist on first team football and is likely move elsewhere under the Bosman Ruling.
