L'OM officials are determined to improve on last season's poor performance, and are looking to drastically change their playing staff in order to do this.
Zoumana Camara has attracted the interest of Premier League side Tottenham along with Monaco and looks set to leave before the new season.
Former skipper Patrick Blondeau will leave the club having not been offered a new contract and Florin Maurice has been linked with a move to Spanish side Celta Vigo.
Meanwhile, Barcelona goalkeeper Richard Dutruel is a target but would have to lower his wage demands, and Parma's Johan Micoud is also being tracked following the signing of Hideotoshi Nakata.
Barnard Tapie has also enquired about the availability of Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf.
